Who is Global Humic Products Ltd.?
Global Humic Products Ltd. is a leader in the development and manufacture of high-quality humic products. Our roots trace back to 1998, when our team began pioneering humic research in Alberta — among the first in the region to explore the benefits of humic substances for soil and plant health.
Founded by a group of experienced and knowledgeable professionals, our company remains driven by science, evidence-based innovation, and quality in everything we do. We proudly serve the agriculture, turf, animal feed, remediation, environmental, and drilling industries around the world.
Our technical team includes experts recognized internationally for their contributions to humic science. Dr. Edwin Liem, our Technical Manager, is the author of Low-Rank Coal Applications in Agriculture: Humic Analyses, Products, and Performance and a specialist in humic and fulvic acid chemistry. Our team members are active members of the Humic Products Trade Association (HPTA), where we regularly contribute through research, presentations, and publications. In addition, we are involved in the International Humic Substances Society (IHSS), staying connected to the latest developments in humic science and collaborating with experts worldwide.
We maintain our own in-house laboratory to ensure that every product meets our strict quality standards. What we state on our label is what we deliver — verified through continuous testing and quality control.

Our customer support team works closely with customers to provide technical assistance, address questions, and offer tailored solutions.
